Position Summary / Job description

We are looking for an experienced 2nd Officer to join in June.

The Second Officer (Navigation) is in charge of route planning/navigation and functionality of bridge (Navigation) equipment, close liaison with Master and relevant shore side Marine and Operations departments for safe navigation and itinerary planning. Additionally they are the appointed “Bridge Manager” in charge of Bridge Officers training and bridge equipment familiarization as directed by Captain and Staff Captain. 
The Second Officer (Safety) is supporting the Safety Officer with maintenance and inspections of (Safety) safety equipment, PMS recording, crew training and familiarization, follow up on safety deficiencies etc.
