Empowering Georgian Seafarers with World-Class Training, Support, and Career Opportunities
Founded in 2012, CSM Georgia continues a legacy that began in 1999 when CSM first commenced the recruitment of Georgian seafarers following its takeover of the Georgian fleet’s management.
After the privatisation of the Georgian fleet in 2005, CSM sustained its commitment to Georgian maritime professionals through its Batumi-based subsidiary, CSM Baltija, and the OCCO office in Tbilisi.
In 2009, these operations were restructured under the name “Georgian Crewing Company”. Subsequently, in November 2012, CSM consolidated its crewing operations in Georgia by merging the two entities into one unified and independent company – Columbia Shipmanagement Georgia Ltd., headquartered in Batumi with a branch office in Tbilisi.
